Skills Camps

The Department of Game and Fish will offer hunting, fishing or shooting camps throughout the state of New Mexico to assist in the R-3 (recruit, retain, and reactivate) mission. Camps will be year round, overnight or day camps, for families and those new to hunting, fishing, and shooting. A positive learning environment will be created to learn and pass along the hunting, angling and shooting heritage.

Online Hunter Education graduates and their families and outdoor enthusiasts looking to expand their skill set will get an introductory course in various firearms, archery, angling and other outdoor skills in a safe, positive environment.

Ladies Social Hour

Updated 10-20-2021

Come join us for our next Ladies’ Social Hour scheduled for November 16, 2021, at 5:30 p.m.

Every time we go afield we learn something new. Watching wildlife or working a new stream we pick up on different things. Our tool bag is always growing and we are taking time to share the little things that we learned.

If you haven’t made it afield recently, what is your favorite tip, trick, or hack? Come prepared to share your tools, big or small we want to hear them all!

If you have specific questions, send them to Jennifer and/or Megan. We will add them to the agenda and make sure to cover them during this session.

Register in advance for the November webinar.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

You can also view previous social hours on the Department’s YouTube page.
